President Trump announced a 20-point peace deal for the Middle East on Monday and by the end of the day yesterday both Israel and Hamas had agreed to it. The worst part of the deal is giving amnesty to some of the worst players in Hamas.

Initially, that bothered me. As I got into the fine print, however, I realized that the amnesty is conditioned on them remaining unarmed and can be revoked should they ever take up arms against Israel again. Considering how many times amnesty has been given by every country in the world and that it also follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, I see no problem with it now.

Once again, President Trump did what the United Nations was created to do. He also did it while the anti-American cretins who control the United Nations attacked him at every step.

The Federal Department of Justice announced that they had arrested the person responsible for starting the California Palisade fires that killed 12 people and caused the loss of more than 20,000 homes. I note that the communist government of California has not charged him with any crimes while at the same time refusing former homeowners permits to rebuild their homes.

I guess their biggest fear right now is that somebody will be able to trace back his actions to the Democrats encouraging and/or paying him. The commies plan to replace the picturesque community with Soviet-style government housing. I’m sure that is going to help the home values of those who remain.

The FBI discovered more evidence of the Harris-Biden administration using its authority to surveil Republicans. At least eight Senators had their actions and telephone calls tracked by the FBI leading up to the 2024 election.

The files were hidden in a way that only top FBI management could access them. You may not believe it now, but this is a bigger conspiracy than Watergate. The Democrats were planning to usurp the power of the entire United States Congress. Remember, more than 50 people went to prison because of Watergate. The only way we are going to get through this attempt to undermine our government is if we put the guilty parties in prison. Otherwise, the next time the Democrats are in control they will do the same thing again. They did it under Obama, nobody was punished, so they did it again under the Autopen.

The Supreme Court opened its 2025 term this week with some interesting oral arguments scheduled. The two most important cases in the first round concern voting. On Wednesday the Court heard argument on who has standing to challenge state election laws. Next Tuesday, the Court will hear arguments on whether Illinois violates federal election law when it allows its poll workers to count votes 14 days after the end of the federally imposed, constitutionally mandated national election day.

The future of our right to vote is at stake in both of those cases.

California’s Democrat front runner in the race for the state’s next governorship refused to continue with an interview because the interviewer asked “follow-up questions.” Apparently, the incredibly homely Katie Porter was only prepared to answer questions that she was given ahead of time. As soon as she received a question that wasn’t on her approved list she refused to answer it.

Compare that to the Republicans. Governor DeSantis fields dozens of questions every day from people he doesn’t know, without any advance warning. It is not that difficult for him because he simply tells the truth.

Speaking of lying Democrats, it is amazing how many Democrats claim that the member of their party running for the highest law-enforcement position in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Attorney General, did not mean what he said when he encouraged killing an opponent and the opponent’s young children. Former vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine actually claimed it was “uncharacteristic” and then refused to answer questions when it was pointed out to him that another similar post was made. Um, Timmy, doing the same thing multiple times makes it characteristic.

What disappoints me is how quickly people have forgotten that the Democrat candidate for the same position in Ohio has posted similar and even far worse things, including several profanity laced posts after the death of Charlie Kirk, saying, “F… K Charlie Kirk” right after Charlie Kirk was murdered.

These people are evil. Electing them to office is the approval of evil.

The Democrats in the United States are continuing to try to blame Republicans for the government shut down. Speaker Mike Johnson is doing the right thing by holding daily press conferences to remind everyone that a continuing resolution, one that the Democrats always pass when a Democrat is in the White House, is sitting before the US Senate waiting for 60 senators to allow it to proceed to the floor.

They are refusing to vote on the resolution until the government replaces all of the freebies that were removed in the Big Beautiful Bill. I encourage all Republicans to continue to hold their position. They have been blamed for these shutdowns in the past because they are always the party that caves in. They are in the right this time and they need to hold their ground.

If nothing else, the people in this country need to realize that it is in their best interest to continue on the Republican path. Chuck Schumer’s demands alone will add another $1.25 trillion to our national debt. That will devalue the money you have in your pocket and all of your assets by about 3%.

The Roman Empire, The Soviet Union, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Greece, China before 1970, 1920s Germany. History is riddled with examples of countries that have failed simply because they allowed over-spending and inflation to destroy their economies. It has caused more deaths (from starvation) than all of the world’s wars combined.

Don’t you think we should refuse to allow the Senate Democrats to destroy our country in the same manner?
