While I tend to agree about “no such thing as innocent civilians”, perhaps gerrymandering and the like is now holding those of us in rural areas hostage. Count Colorado and Michigan in the mix, too.
This comment from a rural Minnesotan alludes to just that:
“The problem is that for statewide positions, like governor or senator or presidential electoral votes, the metro area together with the various blue enclaves like Rochester or Duluth have more votes (legal and otherwise) than the out state. If I understand, this is quite similar to IL as well.
Another problem is that the majority of MN Republicans tend towards RINO-ism (think the Powerline guys). So, even when they do get power, they tend to squander it on misplaced appeals to the "middle" to the annoyance of their conservative voters. The number of "middle" votes gained is offset by the annoyed conservative voters lost.“
This is from Brian Mast , a US Congressman from Florida who said in 2023 and can be found on Youtube: About two months ago, President Biden agreed to hand over $6 BILLION as a part of a hostage deal with Tehran. Shortly after, Hamas, which receives hundreds of millions of dollars from Iran annually, launched an unprecedented and horrific attack on Israel on October 7th.
But instead of admitting this mistake and finding a way to claw back the money, the Biden Administration doubled down and minced words, saying that the money was not going to Iran.
And that was the lie that was repeated by a Democrat member who said the money is not going into Iran “as we speak” and that “they cannot access the money today.” When I pressured him and asked if the money was going into Iran eventually, he repeated his talking points.
The lesson here should’ve been that handing over billions of dollars to our enemy will only strengthen them and put our allies in harm's way. But President Biden, instead, allowed Iran to access an additional $10 BILLION. That is a total of $16 billion Iran can access, which is $1.7 billion more than the aid package to Israel that House Republicans passed and that President Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are refusing to take up. What if anything can be done about Obama/Biden?
Love the history regarding Washington and Pennsylvania- it should be taught in school. So should reading, writing and arithmetic. But as long as there are uneducated populations, the elitists can make untruthful claims and get away with lies. And that is why so many don’t understand the Iranian situation or Israel’s position. In fact, if they were educated, they would protest in the streets until Biden, Pelosi, Clinton, Shifty, Omar, and the JV coach were all in jail - along with their cronies in the intelligence communities.
Dude, I used to live on the gulf coast and you are going to need to get with God about that generator. 'nother thing do not get a Duro-Max I am currently working on mine and they are not well designed.
By the by, I agree with just about everything you produce, especially the Muslim problem. People make the mistake of thinking it is just a religion. But it is political, and progressive to boot.
I’m thinking about moving to the coast full-time. If I do, I’m going to put a Tesla roof on that house with two battery packs. It should provide me enough electricity so I never need to speak to the government again.
I understand that you can use old EV batteries. I believe that they are taken out of automotive service when they are decayed to about 70% of rated capacity. But they are still functional, especially for a stationary use, like a residential service. A few solar panels for charging plus an inverter for regulated AC output and you are off to the races.
I looked into getting a permit to build a 600-foot artesian well too. That is never going to happen in Winter Park so I will probably have to move before that goal is reached. With no need for their water or electricity and a heavy supply of ammunition and firearms I would not need the government at all. It would be like living in America… During the good ole days.
I really enjoyed this column today.

Two people in history that should never have an atomic bomb.
Adolf Hitler and Kohemeni.
Israel should just bomb the outside of Fordow. That way, nobody can get in or get out.
The application for General has been replaced by a pulse test.
They already bombed the entrances, but the problem is we don’t know the extent of the tunnels or where some of them may lead. We learned much in Gaza.
Thank you.
Iran has enough enriched uranium *two* fuel at least nine nuclear bombs
I already fixed it. I guess it doesn’t change what went out on the emails.

I will only purchase new batteries for the house. They are pretty good and come with a 20-year warranty, unlike the car batteries.
What a dream to not have to speak to said entities. I have an acquaintance in my area with a Tesla roof. She loves it.
